About

Who we are and what we hold to.
Why we exist

Our Story

NimbleJinn was founded on a straightforward observation: the hardest part of software is almost never the part that gets demoed.

It is the data model somebody chose in week two. It is the deployment nobody automated. It is the test suite that goes green whether or not the thing works. Those decisions are made early, quietly, usually by whoever was available — and everything afterwards is either helped or haunted by them.

We built the company around doing that part well, across the kinds of software that usually live in separate shops: games, mobile apps, SaaS platforms, and AI systems. They look like different worlds from the outside. From the inside they ask the same questions, and the answers travel remarkably well between them.

We are small on purpose. It means the people you talk to are the people doing the work.

What we hold to

Principles

Short list, held seriously. If we ever break one of these on your project, call us on it.

Say the unwelcome thing early

Bad news does not improve with age. You will hear about slipping scope, a wrong estimate, or a failing approach while there is still room to act.

Build the skeleton first

The whole shape before any of the polish. Expensive mistakes should surface while they are still cheap.

Boring where it counts

Novelty belongs in the product, not the infrastructure. We choose the well-understood option unless something specific is bought by not doing so.

A green build should mean something

Tests that would actually fail. Determinism where the domain allows it. Honesty about what is not covered.

Write the decision down

What we chose, what we rejected, and why. So the reasoning outlives the meeting and whoever comes next inherits an answer.

Leave it maintainable

The work is not done when it runs. It is done when someone else could pick it up without calling us.

Who you will work with

Team

Small on purpose. The people you talk to are the people doing the work.
